Yosemite

Unfortunately, it was rainy and really foggy when we got to Yosemite...we drove for a bit and hoped the weather would clear up. It wasn't raining very hard so we could get out and look at some of the sites and we got a nice view of Yosemite Falls



...sometimes we caught a glimpst of a huge rock face or mountain peak...


...but the fog did not clear up at all....


One of the main lookout points that overlooked Yosemite Valley and El Capitan was a total white out.



and it was too wet to enjoy hiking anywhere...


We were disappointed because we were really looking forward to Yosemite. Its beautiful and so impressive, such a change from the desert we had been driving through for so long...but since we couldn't see much, it was basically a bust. So we decided to leave and drive into San Francisco a day early.
