It was a beautiful autumn day, with a clear blue sky, as we entered Tennessee and drove to Memphis. We checked into our hotel, then decided which of the BBQ joints we were going to try first...we decided on Interstate BBQ (another recommendation from our friend Kent). Spunky was very excited to try some of the best BBQ in the land
The restaurant didn't look like much...
But who cares? cuz those were some seriously good ribs!!!
After dinner we went for a drive to the old Stax Records, which is now the Museum of American Soul.
Then it was time to head down to Beale St, where we found a little Blues club and listed to Dr. Feelgood Potts and his band. They were good, and the Dr. plays a mean harmonica!
The next day was Sunday so we went to church (how many times have I had to say THAT in my life?!?!) to Rev. Al Green's Full Gospel Tabernacle.

After Church, there was nothing left to do but visit GRACELAND...
