Giant Legs...

Believe it or not, these things were not out of our way! We were en route to Roswell, NM which took us off I-40 and onto some smaller highways through Texas where we got to see some strange stuff. Fields and farms lined one side of the road...
and railroad tracks and factories lined the other side of the road.
We passed through a few dinky little towns...
(someone lives in this old garage)
I'm no vegetarian...but the Cargill slaughterhouse was still sort of strange to see...
Finally...
much the same landscape as Texas...
Roswell was a bit of a bust, a few alien themed shops and signs, but that's about it. There is a little museum I think, but it was closed already by the time we arrived in town.
